The active flea season can vary greatly from one area to another depending on climate. In general, fleas require a hot and humid climate in order to survive and reproduce.
Fleas are most active when the temperature is between 70°F and 85°F with a relative humidity above 70%.
As the environmental conditions become less favorable, the flea population will become less active and even dormant.
