Can Frontline Kill My Cat or Dog?

Frontline flea medication will not kill your cat or dog, but will instead make your dog much happier to not be infested fleas and endure their tormenting.

The worst thing that could happen is if your pet shows an allergic reaction to Frontline, which does happen in a very small percentage of cats and dogs. If this happens, the most likely side effect is a skin rash in the area where Frontline was topically applied.

To make sure that you avoid complications from Frontline, just follow the instructions and use the proper product based on the weight of your pet. Administer the contents of an entire tube during each application, and don’t reapply again until after the full month has gone by.

But don’t let your imagination run wild that somehow you could accidentally kill your pet by giving it flea medication.
