Brewers yeast is sometimes used as an alternative or holistic treatment for fleas on cats and dogs with varied reports of success or failure. The most common way of using brewers yeast to kill fleas is to add a tablespoon or so to the drinking water.
Again, we don’t recommend using such methods because there are certainly more proven and reliable methods of treating a flea infestation on your pet.
We would only advise you to try brewers yeast for this purpose if you are bent on not using any pesticides or other chemicals on your pet, but would rather seek out a more natural solution.
