Flea bites themselves are not contagious and cannot be spread by contact or any other method.
Where there are flea bites, however, there are also fleas, which means that although the bites are not contagious there are probably fleas in the near vicinity which may bite you as well.
So don’t be afraid of contracting flea bites from someone else or an animal who has them.
Simply be vigilant that your home and other locations where you spend a significant amount of time are not infested with fleas, or else you run the risk of getting bitten as well.
