In actuality, the beating of a mosquito’s wings is constantly creating the sound waves that are interpreted as a buzzing sound by the human ear canal.
But because the sound waves are so minute, they are only powerful enough to create stimulation by the human ear when the mosquito is extremely close or even inside the ear.
The mosquitoe goes inside of your ear because it has detected body heat and carbon dioxide given off by your body, which are signatures of a potential host that it can obtain blood from.
