Your cat or dog’s hair needs to be completely dry before applying Frontline, so if you give your pet a bath you need to wait several hours before giving him the flea medication.
After you have administered the dose of Frontline, the animal should not be given a bath or allowed to swim until the medication has completely dried on its skin which usually takes about 24 hours.
After this period, however, the medication cannot be washed off or rendered ineffective, so you can let your pet get wet as much as you want until it is time for the next dosage the following month.
