Is Advantage Flea Treatment Dangerous?

Advantage flea treatment medication is not dangerous to you or your pet, and you should not have any safety concerns about using it. Be vigilant and apply the recommended levels of the product as specified on the packaging and you shouldn’t have any problems.

In fact, Advantage is our recommended brand of flea medication because it is safe and highly effective at eliminating flea infestations on animals, and has few if any side effects.

Some animals can be allergic to certain chemicals in flea medications, or any other medication for that matter, but it is a very small percentage and should not be an initial concern.

Advantage does have an insecticide as its active ingredient which is poisonous to adult fleas, but it exists in such low concentrations in your pets bloodstream that it is not dangerous to them at normal levels.
