Flea Bites That Won’t Heal?

If your flea bites are not healing properly, there are a couple of things that you can do to speed up the process and prevent infection of the wounds.

First, keep the bites clean of dirt and debris in order to promote healing and prohibit bacteria from infect them.

Covering the bites with some gauze or a Band-Aid is a good way to protect them and promote quicker healing.

There are several topical creams that you can purchase over-the-counter at your local drugstore which will help to reduce swelling and itchiness in flea bites and get them to go away faster.

Hydrocortisone cream is a topical steroid that reduces inflammation. Calamine lotion and aloe vera can also be applied to flea bites in order to reduce the itch.
