If Mosquitoes Were Extinct?

What would happen if mosquitoes were extinct? What effect would it have on the food chain and would there be any adverse effects, ecologically speaking?

Many scientists have made the case that mosquitoes provide very little benefit to the bio system, and that their absence would not have negative consequences.

They believe that mosquitoes have an almost fully negative impact on our world in that mosquitoes are one of the main vectors of diseases such as deng fever and malaria.

They espouse the idea that the elimination of mosquitoes from the face of the earth would actually be a good thing for our world.

There is of course two sides to any debate, but the fact that many scientists are making this claim demonstrates the fact that mosquitoes certainly have more negative impact than positive on our world.
