But the reason you are still seeing more fleas is because 95% of the flea population is flea eggs and flea larva that must still develop and become adults.
As your cat or dog wanders around your home, its breathing and the minute vibrations from its movement causes the flea larva to emerge from dormancy inside their silky cocoon.
Your pet will act as a sort of vacuum cleaner, sucking up the newly adult fleas and killing them as it moves around the home.
For this reason, it will take a few weeks for the entire flea population to be eradicated. If you want to speed up the process, you can utilize other flea control products which have the ability to kill flea eggs and flea larva.
